Where heritage and the future meet.
SVR-ARCHITECTS undertook the Chancellerie project for BNP Paribas Fortis in the heart of Brussels, near the Royal Park. Over the years this office complex had become a dark maze full of level differentials. SVR‑ARCHITECTS transformed this single block into five autonomous buildings. Along with sustainability, optimization and flexibility form the DNA of this design. 2,500 people now work for BNP in this 70,000 m² project, in which SVR-ARCHITECTS combined restoration, renovation and new-build.
