Classrooms and offices St.-Rochus convent
Project description
Near the southern part of the heart of Antwerp lies the 17th century former convent and chapel of the Carthusian order, now a protected monument. In 2001 the world-renowned Institute for Tropical Medicine became the new owner of this building complex, with the intention to house in it classrooms and offices for the master’s courses in Public Health and Disease Control. The whole project is a major upgrade for the reception of international students wishing to study tropical or veterinary medicine in a pleasant and peaceful environment.
