LEUVEN UNIVERSITY (KUL)

Arenberg Accelerator (Bio-incubator) 2&3

Project description
This project was the winning design in a competition organized by Bio-Incubator NV and was organized in two phases. A very compact and highly modular concept, it permits infinite variation in lab layout. The 128 m² virtual modules are divided into three sub-zones, ensuring that the details can vary without altering the internal circulation. This is important because it is the intention to connect the modules to one other. According to user wishes, various modules can be selected and interconnected using plug and play. The function of the modules can be adapted to needs in many ways (lab, office, storage, cold room, reception, etc.).
