Refurbishment St. Bernard’s Abbey
Project description
St. Bernard’s Abbey has been the property of the municipality of Hemiksem since 1988. The exterior of the west wing had already been restored in consultation with the historical conservation authorities. The council commissioned the studio to house municipal services and the local police in the west wing, with the . library and music school to follow later. The brief included the interior renovation, furnishing and decoration of the former abbey.
