Office building with research facility for drinking water
Project description
On commission from the PIDPA (Antwerp Provincial and Intermunicipal Drinking Water Company) the studio created the design for their new headquarters.
Because of the quality of its original 1960s architecture, the well-known tower on the Antwerp ring road was not razed to the ground, but instead thoroughly renovated and expanded.
The work left the building looking brand new. Refreshing use of materials such as glass, granite and corrugated aluminium, breaks the monotony that characterizes so many office blocks.
