Project description

ETEX (Eternit) organized an international architecture competition in early 2020 for a new Innovation Center at their site in Kapelle-op-den-Bos.
SVR-ARCHITECTS was awarded the commission as winner in mid-2020.

On the one hand this new building consists of research facilities including:
• industrial scale process & product testing
• lab scale material research & related office support spaces
• training & experience centre

and on the other hand staff amenities shared with the production site:
• company restaurant
• locker rooms & clothing service
• medical services
