SCHELDT THEATRE

Theatre building

Project description

On the outskirts of Terneuzen (Netherlands), SVR-ARCHITECTS designed a new theatre overlooking the broad river mouth of the Scheldt. With the ambition to stage both opera, dance and musicals, it became a multifunctional building with all the technical facilities these art forms require. Integrated into the urban landscape in an aesthetically and functionally remarkable manner, the Scheldt Theatre attracts culture-lovers from both Flanders and Dutch Flanders.
