LEUVEN UNIVERSITY (KUL)

Winning competition design for new ‘Mobility Hub’ with 750 to 850 parking spaces

Project description

The combination SVR-ARCHITECTS / JHK Architects wins the integral design assignment for the new Mobility Hub at KU Leuven.

In collaboration with JHK Architects, SVR-ARCHITECTS developed a vision for the integration of a Mobility Hub with 750 to 850 parking spaces on Arenberg Science Park, within a master plan by KCAP. The design competition was issued by KU Leuven. Together, we will work to develop this vision into an efficient, user-friendly and sustainable design with a recognizable appearance.

With its prominent location on the Koning Boudewijnlaan, the new hub will be a defining element in the environment that matches the innovative and future-proof ambitions of the science park in Leuven.
